SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 - 10:30am - 12 noon Integrated yoga is yoga that integrates blind and sighted people together experiencing dhyana, or gazing inward. Experience a nourishing yoga flow taught with a heavy focus on audio description by a trauma informed teacher that invites you to connect more with yourself, your body’s possibilities, and exploring self acceptance. This practice emphasizes the importance of connection and exploring internalized biases on and off the mat. __ Abby is an experienced yoga teacher offering sessions online and in-person in Malaysia and the United States since 2018. She believes yoga is an incredible tool that should be more accessible for everyone. Abby became interested in yoga as a tool to manage her own migraines and albinism. She currently teaches many varieties of yoga, including yoga for office workers, trauma informed yoga, vinyasa yoga, and prenatal yoga. Abby believes that integration is essential to true accessibility and inclusion, and enjoys offering Visually Integrated yoga sessions, where blind, visually impaired, and sighted students practice yoga together in one class. Ableism and stigma in the visually impaired community is often a result of general misunderstanding about blindness, and through integrated yoga, Abby believes change is possible.

• Pre-registration is required for all workshops and courses. • Payment must be received prior to workshop or course start date. • Payment is accepted online or via credit card at the studio. • Workshops, courses, and events must be canceled a minimum of 7 days prior to their first start date to receive a refund, no refund or credit can be given after. All cancellations are subject to a 5% processing fee. •In the event of a workshop, course, or event cancellation by the studio, you will receive a full refund.
